Praise:

A Collection of Twisted Tales is an ambitious project that testifies to the author’s appreciation of Edgar Allan Poe’s fiction in particular. In this collection, Kraig Dafoe offers a creative homage with many original ideas and unexpected twists.”

My Review
A Collection of Twisted Tales was a well written book that showcased the author's appreciation of Edgar Allan Poe. While I enjoyed the book I felt that the author tried to hard to mimic Poe's style and I would have liked to see more of Kraig Dafoe in this book. The author is clearly a gifted writer and I would love to see more of his own writing style when he is not following someone else's writing style as closely. That aside this book really feel like it could have been written by Poe and the author truly captured Poe's own muse in this book.
