Eric and Lamar Dance by Enrique Stein is a book that would appeal most to an audience of adults with an interest in gay sub/dom romance and race play. Eric and Lamar Dance by Enrique Stein begins with a Caucasian family and their son Eric more or less adopting an African American child, Lamar, who is in a bad home situation. Eric and Lamar face many trials as they try to find the relationship that works best for the two as they explore a lop-sided friendship, open relationship, and a sub/dom relationship with race play.

Eric and Lamar Dance by Enrique Stein was an interesting book to read. The way the book explored not only a submissive dominant relationship between two men, but also race play was new to me. While it was new to me I found that I still enjoyed reading about Eric and Lamar. Enrique Stein did a spectacular job in developing both males as characters with how they each had their own unique personalities and struggles throughout the book. I really enjoyed reading as Eric and Lamar grew and changed throughout their lives. The ending to Eric and Lamar Dance by Enrique Stein was quite the surprise to me as it was not something that I had anticipated and yet I really liked the way that Enrique Stein decided to end the book. Overall, I feel like I would definitely be interested in any future books by Enrique Stein.
